Here's a pic of each of them...I took the pics on my cellphone camera so it doesn't do the color of the corals justice at all...but here they are...the gsp isn't open all the way and the toadstool hasn't started to open yet.

As stated above....yay!!! My birthday is on Monday so I decided coral is what I wanted as a present from the g-parents. We drove a lil over an hour and a half down to el paso today (since there isn't annnything close to where I live as far as fish or corals go). I ended up picking three things...

So I'm looking into getting some corals for my 22nd birthday(this Monday:D). I was wondering what is the difference between SPS, LPS, soft corals, frags & polyps? What is the easiest to keep-what is the hardest? Right now I have PC lighting, which I was told some of the softies would do okay...

What about soft corals, lps, zoanthids/polyps with t-5? Can anyone explain to me what the difference is between lps, sps, & soft corals?

...so I've been looking into getting new lighting for our 200 gallon tank. I would like to put my toe in the water with corals. I was wondering what kind of lighting you recommend. Well I know that MH lights are the best...but man are they expensive for my size tank! I need a 72" light..my tank...
