I had a Coral Beauty for about 4 months. It never touched my mushrooms, but It did start nipping on my leathers and zoos so I had to get rid of him :( They are both pretty fish though. I want to get a flame now.

I think major cracks or leaks are possible with either one of them. acrylic can start to split over time.

I've used both, and I vote Glass. it seems like it doesn't matter how carefull you are, acrylic aways gets scratched somehow or another. Acrylic costs more too.

OT: Alright! I've just been promoted to a mandarin, I was getting tired of being called a shrimp.

I started off with CC, now I regret it. later I mixed sand with It, but the sand just sinks under the CC. The areas were sand is still on top looks alot cleaner then the CC.

If you ever want to keep corals, certain inverts, or even good coralline algae growth, then you'll want to upgrade. Otherwise things will probably stay about the same way they are now with maybe some brown and green algae growth.

I had problems with my coral beauty niping my leathers and polyps so I traded him in a couple days ago. I have heard that flames have a better success rate with corals and I am also thinking of trying one. Has anyone had any bad experince with them?
