Ok. So no glass tops once the halides are up and running. So do you need any sort of UV protection in between the bulb and water or can you go protection free? :D :rolleyes: Mini-Reefer

I've got: 1-96 watt CSL smartlite, 10000K and 1-55 watt actinic 03 on my 29 gallon with all soft corals. It seems to be plenty of light for this size tank. HTH

I think its a type of coralline algae. It has just started growing good lately. Its starting to smooth over like the pinks and reds. Looks really cool with just actinics!
