Mine is the same way. He'll swim upside down under a ledge in a cave, "lay down" between rocks and substrate, but the coolest thing is his jaws. When my other fish come around his area he opens up wide and chases them off, looks like he's hissing. Reminds me of a snake or a dragon! Pretty cool...
