My light is 3 inches above my refugium.

Iam just guessing what my flow rate is. I have had no issue with corrosion and its fire proof if it stays out of the water.

It was the bulb only. You can get the fixter at home depot or any hardware store. All the fixture is , is a tin fixture with a clamp on it they run about $7.00. Brian

Most likely its your swing arm. I would throw away the swing arm and just use the refractometer. I would add enough ro top off to get your sg down to 1.029 using the swing arm tonight until you get your hanbs on the refractometer just to be safe.

What are you using to test the salanity with? If its a swing arm you may have a air bubble on the arm.
