Possibly. It depends on how much new ammonia is created by adding the new rock. To be safe, you could put the new rock in a plastic tub and let it cycle in there before you add it to your main tank. Just put it in with a heater & powerhead with the proper saltwater mix and monitor the ammonia...

Yes, but if the rock is not very fresh it may start another cycle.
