Is there any prevention though ? When i see people and pics of their frag tanks i never see algae like this, i feel like im doing something wrong

Tank has been up about a month

I have hair algae on my frags in my frag tank. Its 20 Gallon long with about 10 frags in it. Any suggestions ? Lights are on a 8 hr cycle

Yeh its from on the bay, im just really wanting to get out of PC lighting and into some MH without busting my very low budget

PC fans are all 12v, If you wanted to go the PC fan route i would recommend 180mm fans. They are great in size and you will get a lot of air circulation. Best bet is to get yourself a PC Power Supply and mount that in the hood. Connect the 12v power from the Power Supply to the fans and plug in...
