    Too freaking cute!!!!!!!!!

I had a Clownfish fry escape the grow-out tank. It found a 1/2" Tulip anemone to host it!!!!! It will not leave the Tulip for anything. It's just adorable to watch.

    Something to Aspire to

Here's a pic of a reef I've always admired. The pic is from last year and it's even more impressive today. Dave is a founding member of my local reef club - the Upstate Reef Society. THIS is one impressive tank kept by one impressive hobbiest. FYI - NO tapwater will ever touch this aquarium.

    Beaslbob - Mollies

Apparently Mollies will school if they are given enough space. I have a dozen in my lagoon that school tighter than any other fish I've seen. I just thought you might want to know that.

So what's the big deal about Copper?

To quote Dr. Ron Shimek, noted Marine Aquarium Biologist: "Copper adsorbs on to all surfaces. That is to say it binds with all surfaces in the tank, so... yes, the glass, the rock, the sand, the thermometer, inside of plumbing.... you name it, it binds to it. Then, it can slowly leach off (or...

Need ideas for catching a fish

Here's the scenario: I have a PJ Cardinal that carries eggs every couple of months. I want to try raising the fry. Here's the problem: I need to put him in a seperate tank after he's carrying but before the eggs hatch. He's really really skiddish when he's carrying eggs. If anything touches...

    "Plant Life" experiment results

Hi all, Most of us are aware of controversy around our very own Beaslbob AKA, Mr. Plant Life. Some of us get exasperated and I've even seen anger toward the relentless assault on our current standard reef keeping practices. First, I'd like everyone to step back and remember that this hobby is...

    Little Nemo - Day 53

Well, several of you have asked about how LN is doing. He's a mis-barred little runt :D Yes, I still love him. I have a gorgeous Rose BTA waiting for him in the lagoon for when he gets a bit bigger. He's doubled his size in the past 2 weeks but his younger siblings are a LOT larger than he is.
