    Cool With the eel being such a messy eater, that could be part of the problem as far as a diatom bloom, and dirty water....you need to vacuum out that substrate once and awhile with such a messy eater, if you dont have a clean-up crew... As far as the snails go, you should get the large ones...

    If they are semi transparent, they are a type of Pod, not copepods, they are more flea size... If its pods, be happy........They usually come on, and live in LR... ~Susie ;)

    IMO, Mushrooms and polyps are the best place to start, they are easy to keep, and basically you dont have to worry about your lighting.. Gl on starting your reef...its SO much fun... ~Susie ;)

    IMO yes...I have a mandarin, and a scooter and they are fine..thats in a 55gl.I have a mated pair of Mandarins with the scooter but I lost the female to ich :( ,but they all got along, they pretty much mind their own business.. ~Susie ;)

    It also depends on the area and the type of people they cater too, and Also if they are the only place in a large radius that sells coral, or hard to find items, Then you can be sure the price is WAY high... ~Susie :rolleyes:

    In my own personal experience with the "little darlings" I think they can be VERY aggressive..Somewhat aggressive to say the least..
