New Artifiical Reef!

I have this bad habbit-- I search for stuff on ----, and bid on it, even though I know I won't win. SO-- I came back from lunch to find out that i DID in fact win an auction for 100 blue leg hermits for $31.00. So-- I guess i got me a whole mess of seahorse food! :)

Why dont you haved it shipped to where you work, and then just take your lunch when they come in? (for the future of course, its too late this time around)

They are filter feeders-- i make sure and at least once every couple days to kinda give them a cloud of DTs.

Yup- its a red tree sponge-- one of 2. I have a larger one that is about 1.5 ft high--- its really nice. its a pain though, cuase i have to bend it down so i can do water changes-- otehrwise it will get exposed to the air. make sure that when you take it out of the bag that you keep it...

If you can find the exact species of the cowry, you should be able to determine if ti is reef safe or not. Of course, you could just get it, and watch it-- it's not liek the move real fast-- if he takes to one of your soft corals, get rid of him. I was not able to discobver any reef safe...
