bristle worms come in many colors. i have seen red, brown , black, green, even white ones in my tanks. some also have multiple colors like black and red for example.

i think you're thinking of black lights, right? if so, don't do it! i heard the radiation from those lights will destroy corals and blind fish. don't take my word for it though, just somthing i heard once. but thats enough for me not to try it.

copper also gets into the silicon that the tank is sealed with. over time it will leach into the water. just somthing else to think about.

n.o. lighting is normal output. just like vho is very high out put, and ho is high output. just search around on the site and you will see what their lighting is. all they use is pretty much normal output lighting.

why risk the corals lives just because of one fish ? i've only seen angels do well with corals in very large tanks that are very well fed. i'd say, if you want angels so badly, set up a fish only tank and spare you corals lives! don't forget, you work very hard to keep your corals happy and...

i don't thik it's a good idea to have any fish in a tank that small! you'll already be pushing it once you start adding corals to the tank. don't forget, it's harder to keep a 5.5 gallon tank stable then it is to keep a 10 gallon stable and so on.

the problem is most likely in the top off water you use. fresh water has a low ph level. not good for a reef tank! i suggest you use kent's superbuffer dkh in your top off water. i always add just a little bit every time i top off, and haven't had a problem yet.
