    changing tanks need advice

AFTER you have most of your live rock in and arranged, with the fish you have, you can do several different gobies, i.e. engineer, sleeper, watchman, and dwarf angels, i.e. coral beauty, flame. Right now I'm getting into Japaneese swallowtail angels.

best way to raise alk & calc?

I was having the same problem in my 90 untill I tested for magnisium and found my problem. Since I raised it, (still in the process) I don't have to add additives daily. Plus I finally got lucky and got a good used calcium reactor from a someone being deployed and looking forward to using it!

    changing tanks need advice

Big step up. I just upgraded from a 55 to a 90. Are you going to make your reef first or add fish first? My suggestion would be reef first so you don't stress your fish too much.

    Feather Duster Quest reaps rewards!

Thank you Wendy! I am honored you made your very first post in my thread. Dusters can get under your skin and you end up searching them out. The ones you see here I call a true collection as I simply kept searching every shop I've gone into for 2 years to come up with these different ones!

    Candy Cane Issues

More a fight for territory than food issues. Zoas have a mean sting. One of them need to be moved.

    55 to 90

After 2 years with my 55, I finally got the wife to agree to a bigger tank! I now have a 90 gal. with a 30 gal. sump. It is so cool having so much more room. It is a room divider. In the pictures, I show the 55 as it was, and the new 90. I managed to only loose a colt leather (got buried...

    questions about cycling your tank

Did you use live sand? If so, then yeah, go ahead, but just remember, in a fresh tank your "clean up crew" won't have much to eat.

    HELP with EASY corals

I agree with most of the list you have been given, with the exception of the leathers. I have never had any luck with them, but could just be me. Mushrooms are a no brainer, super easy, along with polyps, frogspawns have been my mainstay, super easy. Yeah, you can feed, but I don't. If...

    Red Coco Worm

A close relative, I have 2 christmas tree feather dusters. Heads the same, just mine have the typical feather duster soft tube instead of the hard tube of coco's. They must have low lighting most of all. Bottom of the reef and plenty of plankton.
