    Bubble Algae

I have heard that emerald crabs eat them. Or I think you can remove them manually (but who wants to do that) You just have to be careful not to pop them.

    Anemone for Black Percs?

I had a black perc that hosted in my purple tip sebae anemone before. I had him for about 2 months before he finally decided to snuggle in it though.

    Concern about Finding Nemo

I get alot of questions about the clownfish at the LFS that I work at. Its getting tireing to have to keep telling people that they need larger tank or they need this or they need that, ect

    clowns

The true percs will have more black outlining thier white stripes and they are kind of a more darker orange while the false are a brighter orange. False percs are usually hardier and are less expensive sometimes in the pet stores than the true percs.

attack of the Chocolate Chip Starfish

Yep those stars will eat almost anything they can get ahold of. Mine ate my feather duster then it tried to eat my sebea anemone  If you keep them well fed they shouldn't eat as much of your other stuff but they definitely don't belong in a reef or any tank with an anemone.

    Cycling question

You can add the live rock any time you want, but if it is uncured its best to add it during the cycle because that is the best time for it to cure when there are no fish in the tank. I think uncured rock will make your cycle last a bit longer but I'm not sure. BTW welcome to the board :D

    cannot find my cleaner shrimp

A molt is like when they shed their outer shell, or their skin, whatever you want to call it ;) They usually shed it every couple months or sooner, then they will hide out for a few days for their new shell to harden because they are more delicate.

    cannot find my cleaner shrimp

Have you noticed any molt from a shrimp? Sometimes if they get stressed they will molt and hide out for a few days.

    clown fish mateing

The shake thing is their mating dance, I think. My clowns do it also (looks like their having a spasm or something). But mine never laid any eggs or anything, so I guess sometimes they just shake for the fun of it?

    QT tank

A 10 gal should work but that depends on how many fish you have or are going to have in your main tank because if you were to have an ich breakout then you might have to move all your fish in the QT. I don't think its neccessay to treat new fish. Just keep the fish in the QT for abour 2-3...

I think my condi ate one of my cleaner shrimp?

It is possible that the anemone could have eaten him, but if it is the cleaner shrimp's molt then I would think more that he might just be hiding. What other inhabitants do you have in your tank?

    Water Change

You don't need to take out the fish, just remove 10-20% of the water in your tank. The water you add back into your tank should have the same salinity or close to the salinity that is in your main tank. I would reccommend using RO or DI water.

    clenup crew??

When I used to have a 30 gal I had about 15 turbo snails and blue leg hermits. Two chocolate chip starfish, three cleaner shrimp, two peppermint shrimp and a camel back shrimp.

    clownfish

No anemone is needed to keep a clown. They can live just fine without one. I have kept my false perc without an anemone for a long time and she's doing fine, they do like to have anemones though :)

    Sea-horse and fire-fish

I think the fire fish will be fine in your reef. What other fish do you have? I wouldn't reccommend putting any fish in with sea horses, you might be able to since firefish are usually shy and skiddish, but I wouldn't put fish in with horses, JMO

How big does a Regal Tang get?

I'm pretty sure they get to be about 12 inches long :)

Yellow tang in a 30 gallon?

If the tang is small enough it will be alright for a while but once he gets bigger you'll definitely need to find a larger home for him. Yellow tangs can get up to 7 inches long in captivity and they need lots of swimming space and hiding spots and a 30 gal just can't give the room tangs need.

    Perc. Clown Question

They should be fine together, since they look so much alike anyway. I had a true perc and a false perc together before with no problems.

    Ick Disappeared!?

Even if fish do not show signs of ich they probably still have it. Once ich infects your tank eventually all the fish will get it even if you remove the fish that have spots. You could try to only remove the fish that appear to have it but chances are all the other fish are already infected. :(

I have a thousand FISH in my Million gallon tank...

    1) Type of fish I currently have in my 100 gal: Pair of false perc clowns, long nosed butterfly, bi-color angelfish, blue damsel. I plan on getting a purple tang soon. 2) I usually feed once a day to every other day. 3) Mostly I feed pellet foods or flake food soaked in garlic extract. Then on...
