    Yes the rubble was cured I will keep an eye on it I am waiting for my RO/DI unit to show up I have been using tap water but recently learnd that was not to smart every time I think I am done I learn I need something else$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    I just added a small fuge to my tank and I have about 8 lbs of rubble and some alge growing in it , would that cause a slight jump in ammonia it has been at 0 for the last 3 months ?Now it reads .25

    I just set one up it was simple. I found a small plexi glass container and a GX 1500 pump added some LR rubble and a few differant types of alge "not sure how to pronounce the type" and a light source.Here is a pic of the set up!

    I have been feeding once a day a cube of alge and one cube of the formula for meat eaters not sure whats in it but they love it.I wonder though if it's enough, I have great filtration but as always the more I feed the more nitates i have, which means more water changes. fish are clown trigger...

    My tank is a 90 gal with a 50 gal sump so all together about 140 gal for the system.

    My tank is now three mounths old and my filters are keeping up with the Bio load My question is can you change the water to much to try and reduce nitrates. My nitrates were at around 40 so I did one today about 30 % I reduced them to about 15 which is not bad for a FOWLR should I keep going...

    I just added my last fish to my tank. A 5 inch powder blue tang I heard some where that you could use lettuce or spinach leaf to add to there diet is this true?:notsure:

    The best way is to use a gravel vac hooked up to your water facuet and it will suck up all the yunk leaving your gravel. the best time to do this is when doing a water change because you will have to replace the water you sucked out.
