I have about 14 Turbo's and they've cleaned the heck out of my LR. Man it got dirty but they went to town.

I don't have a protein skimmer. It is an over the back two filter system. Any suggestions would help me out. Have a Choc. Chip Star but he hangs out by my overflow ALL the time. I had a sand sifter but my crab killed him!!! Is there any other invertabrates that I could get. Thanks.

My aragonite sand is becoming brown. My crabs and snails prefer hanging out on the live rock. What can I get to clean my sand? Thank you for reading this.:notsure:

NP, thought I'd give you a heads up. My son is 2 1/2 and he's going nuts touching the tank. I put it in my room so it wouldn't be that bad. He's at my house during the week. The whole custody thing. So if he comes in my room during the night, we'll just go out on the couch. Good luck.

Hey Ant. If your son is putting his "Fish" in the tank be careful of what you put in yours. ie. venemous fish, urchins etc. Just a heads up. Good luck.

Everyone on the earlier board (east coast) said that it would be ok to put shrimp-uncooked in my tank to speed up the cylce. I have a 39 gal. w/ about 60 lbs. of LR. I have canned baby shrimp that I wanted to use. Would this be ok, and how many?:notsure: I would def. rinse the shrimp off...

There the little baby shrimp. Tiny as all getup. Yeah you take a brick of cream cheese on a plate, next you put cocktail sauce on that, then you add the little baby shrimp, and finally get Wheat thins or regular crackers!:cheer: Really good.
