I painted mine blue, but should have been darker. I do alot of diving and the backdrop in the ocean is dark blue.

Move your lights up 8" above tang and get some glass tops to slow evaporation. Put some fans in to keep your heat down.

In the 46 Bow I was using a SeaClone 100 Skimmer, 4 maxijet 1200 pumps and a Fluval 304 filter. For light I had 1-36"coralife (1-96watt 10,000k white, 1-96watt 10,000k true actinic 03 blue and 2- Luner blue LED's). I had that tank up for a year before my upgrade. Some times I miss that tank.

Any pics? and why do some of you not feed? do yours move around alot?

Who has anonomes? What are you feeding? And how long have you had it? Do you have Clowns and do they go to your Anonome?

Stop buying from that guy. Does he have dead stuff in his tanks?(inverts,corals?) What are his perameters and how long do you acclimate?

I too like the Maxijet 1200 good flow and I figure everything with a 15-20% loss. I have 3MJ1200's in my 90 seem to get great flow. I also use a rotating head on my pumps to get better water movement.

Ok last night I finaly got online. Saw some great tanks, Murph124, Addicted2. I posted a few pics from Jan07. And read some great threads. I had a few questions about my tank,size,filtration,age,etc. So I took some current pics.

I have a yellow tang that was in a 46Bow for alittle over a year. and its doing great no problems.now I have a 90gal that is only 48" and he is still doing great.

I have lots of snails die never had a problem. Just watch your peramiters and keep going, thats why you have a cleanup crew.

It is a 90gal. The pics I sent were from Jan 07. I'll get some new ones today and repost currrent.

I agree I have one zenia thts huge and another that I cant grow over an inch But the only things I add are reef complete turbo calcium and KH superbuffer. And the occassional water change. No other supplements

3-Maxijet 1200s, Fluval 304, 1-QuiteOne4000, 1-Maxijet400 in the sump, Coralife Super Skimmer 125. Sump is 29Galwith a small refugem.
