    my sump is deep enough, but when I fill it all the way with water my fish tank overflows because the pump pushes it all out.. :(

    I also just noticed that there is a build up of salt where the PVC and tube connect at the shut-off valve for the drain side of my filter.. could that have something to do with it?

    Ok yeah.. I said screw it and just ran the filter down below.. the water looks clear now.. (it was last night) I am using "activated Filter Carbon" Its in a blue milk cartoon (quart sized) sold by Aquarium Pharmaceuticals, Inc.

    well it doesn't pump it out.. it just has to drains at the top.. so once the water gets to a certain level it stops draining.

    Ok so I have a 60 Gal tank and I want 2 fish.. a volitan lion fish and a Snowflake Eel.. its going to be a fish only tank, I am also interested in getting some tangs, triggers, or anything else that can go with it.. what are some other good fish suggestions that will make it look really nice?
