darts lol..you are miss lead :) mantis shrimp simply have large clubs backed by mantis like claws..the clubs are used to well....club things..be it fish to icapacitate them or tank walls in this case..the mantis like claws are used to move stuff around and to kill without impunity.

I agree...I've been doing a whole lotta research and MH lately since buying new lights time is coming up in 6 months and I kinda wanna get outa PC and goto MH since I enjoy SPSes and hate algae ---- is the way to go with MH.....I'm talking 60-70 buck difference for the same thing...both brand...

it doesn't really matter from my experience with my brain....I think you make them "used" to your feeding habits, because mine as well as my shrimp knows when monday comes around..I tend to have my atiniks on when I feed the brain...I usually give my shrimp a little food to preoccupie it with as...

I'll second everyone in saying they're a waste...I'm saving for a skimmer now. don't know how much the skilter goes for right now...but the skimmer I plan to get is the prizm..and its pretty good as far as that brand goes (its the one I plan on getting most likely) and its ~100..seen it for 40...

hrm thankls man, I appreciate the info as for toothbrushing..I usually do it outside of the tank....get rid of EVERYTHING algae wise then rinse and put them back in....I try to refrain from doing the ones with zoos and such on them...I don't have to much coral either than the brain and pulsating...

I use some store bought RO water...but it wouldn't hurt to get that water tested I spose as for the pic, I'll try to get my brothers digital camera and snap a few pics...that might help me out a lot! thanks again

thanks for the info :) I have very low phosphates (I'm basing this on the fact that my hair algae hasn't grown in a month...I'm just picking it away)...I only add food into my tank once a week and I make sure there is none that is not aten by my coral or shrimp/crabs...the hair algae seems...
