i have a 40 bdr and i am doing reef with LS and LR but do i need a skimmer? i have a CPR bakpak but this tank is near my bed, like 5 inches away and it is like loud. but maybe i could live with that but the thing shoots bubbels in my tank not from the powerhead. what filtration could i use this...

Hey, what size tank do you think the skimmer can do? your opinion not the boxes. so its this think quiet? or quieter than the cpr bakpak?
