Salifert test kit users please help me to read the testing result. I dropped 0.85ml KH to have the color changed from blue to orange. My water Alkalinity reading is 0.8 in meq/l per instruction. It is way off from natural sea water 2.9. Please advise.

I bought a toadstool leather on Monday. I placed it on top of my tank. It opended up and some of its tentacles came out. I then move it down of my tank and the tentacles never come out again. Its bottom would not attach to my live rock any more. Then, I move it up to the top again. But nothing...

I have one Percula Clown for for six months. Then, I added a smaller Percula Clown three months ago. However, the larger clown is still agressive to the smaller one. Any idea to make them get along?

I get rid of my Visi Jet Protein skimmer after I used it for a month. It produces too much micro bubbles in the tank and you need to constantly adjust the air valve to make this skimmer work. I am really happy with my Aqua C Remora.

Thanks for your reply. I do agree it is better to have clean water with some bubbles. How bad is it? Mine was in tank and bubbles are everwhere. Excalibur protein skimmer seems like a new product. Any con so far by your experience?

I am currently using an affordable skimmer - Visi-Jet protein Skimmer. Although it works fine, it produces too much micro-bubbles in the tank. I am thinking about buying an AquaC Remora Protein Skimmer since I read many good comments on this skimmer. My question is, will this skimmer also return...

My cleaning shrimp was "molting" (removed its restricting shell and began a new one) this morning. However, the thing is still there. I think it is from inside.
