i added a royal gramma yesterday. this morning, he is missing. i have a bubble anemone also. when i put the gramma in, he made his home directly under the anemone. is it possible that i spent $12.00 feeding my anemone? kiger

you may find that you'll want a little more rock, but that amount is fine. i have an aquac remora hang on skimmer on my 29 gallon and it's great. look on that big auction board to get a good price. enjoy! kiger

i am new with 29 gallon also. bought the crushed coral before reading this board. you may want to search crushed coral before you get too far along. most people on this board strongly recommend against it. i removed mine and went with live sand.

thanks for the help. before i got back to these posts, i turned the rock over so he could get some light. he has sine moved a little, but still on top. i'll leave him be for a couple of weeks as suggested. thank you. kiger

could someone recommend a quiet pump. i have an aquac remora hang-on protien skimmer with the rio 800. i also have the prefilter box. the tank is in my office and the rio 800 is just way too loud. i need something that is as close to silent as possible. thanks in advance. kevin
