    Problem spreading through tank

My Condi and my bubble have recently gotten some redish/brown spots on them. The bubble isn't getting nearly as big as he was when I first got him. I feel like I feed him plenty, the water quality is in line, and he's getting bright light. He's hasn't grown at all since purchase 4 months ago. I...

Brown spots on Condi and Bubble

Both my Condi and Bubble started getting small brown/redish spots about a month ago. The condo doesn't seem to mind them but somethings got to be going on. The bubble isn't opening up as big so I've been making sure he's getting extra food last couple of days but still has the brown on a few of...

    Sun coral trouble

I'm having the exact same problem. What are your setup specs? What do you feed them? I use brine, mysis, other frozen foods and I have them in a 14 Biocube under 70 mH. Like yours, it's turning brown in a few lower edges. Hopefully you figure it out before he's too gone...

    Removing my Condi

Thanks! Ice did the trick! Moral of the story - Condi's will eat anything, grow extremely fast, doesn't make a good host, and hates ice!

    Removing my Condi

I recently purchased a pair of B&W Clowns (A. Oc), and then realized that they will not host the anemone I have in the tank. What's the best way to remove a happy anemone? LFS said they would take him back.

    Evaporation problem...

I'm having issues with my BC14. I recently installed the Nanotuners 70W MH upgrade and now am having issues keeping enough water in the tank. The tank is at work so over the weekend it can go a solid two days with out a top off... Has anyone else had these issues? Any recommendations? I set the...

    Gene's BioCube 14g - New to Great

All in all I love the light! It's really blue and I can already tell the colors on the few polyps of zoos I have are brighter. I upgraded the fans as well, which are a little louder, and the temperature stays between 79.6-80.5. I have to replace about 3/4 of pint of RO a day which is a little...

Help! Sailfin Tang Not Feeling Well

So sorry for putting a sailfin in the 14g. Fish store took him back and gave me credit. I think I'm going to get a RBA for the clown. I will save my next sailfin experience for a larger tank.

Help! Sailfin Tang Not Feeling Well

Yes he's in the biocube 14. LFS said he would be fine while he was young. He's real small at the moment. If you still think it's a bad decision I can take him back.

Help! Sailfin Tang Not Feeling Well

I purchased a small yellow sailfin tang yesterday. I acclimated him for 4 hours before adding to the tank and he seemed fine before leaving. He immediately started eating some of the algae within the tank. This morning when I arrived he was at the back of the rockwork swimming near the bottom...

    Gene's BioCube 14g - New to Great

I need some help identifying a strange worm and some different types of red algae. I've never seen a worm like the one below. It's got a bright orange head and then black stripes with a red line on a white body. Also, look at the different types of red algae. Are any of those types bad for the...

    Gene's BioCube 14g - New to Great

Wanted to give a brief update: I would appreciate feedback from anyone with the 70w Nanotuner Upgrade. The shrimp, crabs, and snails are doing well after a few days in the tank. The shrimp stopped fighting after that first night. I've been reading posts religiously on both saltwaterfish.com...

    air bubbles in bio cube

I saw a previoius answer by someone where they said to remove the carbon filter. The extra filter was restricting flow. They were using filter floss over drip tray instead.
