I am thinking of setting up a 29g FOWLR. Can you please tell me what I need? I have a MaxiJet power head, and a whisper bio-filter and heater. What about Skimming? Lighting? Or any other items? :confused:

I believe that all of the snails are astrea's. I do have one lettered olive snail, but he eats meaty stuff, like brine.

We use instant ocean and ro water. I have power compact lighting.

Had 11 snails now I am down to 9. I don't believe that I have anything in the tank that can eat them.

My husband bought "Coralife Invertebrate Smorgasbord" to feed our corals. The directions state to add 3 drops per gallon. What it doesn't tell me is if I should turn off the skimmer! Has anyone used this product? If so, how do you use it? :nervous:

I also have an AquaClear Wet/Dry w/ Skimmer in sump. We also get those tiny bubbles every time we turn on the skimmer and pump (which we always turn off during feeding). The only thing we do is turn it off and on until it stops spitting those tiny bubbles. This is the first time we have had...

My little yellow gobies!!! They are the funniest fish I have ever seen. We are constantly laughing at their antics!

I have been wanting a mandrin, but realize that they are very hard to keep due to their diet. I have a 75g with 75lbs of Bali live rock and 60 lbs of reef sand. The sand that I have is bigger than the sugar size that most people have said that they use, but not as big as crushed coral.
