I know that I am not supposed to add live rock directly in to a established tank, but I am thinking about buying 50lbs more to add to the existing 20 I already have in my 55 gal. My ? is can I cycle it in a large tub like I use for premixing my saltwater? and how long should I leave it in there...

I have a 10 gal QT housing a pop eyed DSwarf Lion. Do I turn the Light ON or leave it OFF?

OK i put the tang in the QT and treated it, now he looks tons worse. Should I leave him there or put him back in the MT?

The tang is about 2", and they gave me Quick Cure to treat it

My LFS suggested that I put my Sailfin Tang in a 6 gal Quarintine Tank and treat it for ICK, also to put my cleaner shrimp in with it. What do you guys think about this?

I have a Odessea PS75, in a 55 Gal. It is producing alot of Tiny bubbles in the Tank, is this Normal?

Would buy a test kit, but the local fish store does not carry one for saltwater, not sure what or where to get one.

Tap water with a clorine conditioner, Not sure what RO is

All I know to do is take a sample to the Fish Store and they test it and tell me its all ok

Ok then I will just keep doing that. I also have 10 Blue Leg hermits that cleaned alot after I put them in there, then just quit and the brown got worse. Thanks though, I am still learning and I have got alot of good help from here before so I thought I would try again.

It has been very dificult figuring out what fish that don't really eat Mysis shrimp. The Dwarf Lion has no intrest, the Clowns do a little but I keep them occupied with other food and I am able to feed the Horses with a baster. I don't know a whole lot either, but this has been a $60 experiment...
