    Can someone help ID this?

Yeah, they are really freaking me out, cause now that they have been in a bottle together overnight, they have piled together in one big ball. I have never seen things like this in my tank, but I thought I read an article about them a year or so ago. I have had no luck id'ing them yet though...

    Can someone help ID this?

they are all tan in color, with those 2 black marks on their back, and its funny when they swim in the cup, cause they swim up then flip over and kinda fall side to side like a leaf. it almost looks like a flake of sand falling. They have tons of tiny little legs. I just worry if they are...

    Can someone help ID this?

Ok, I noticed a couple little balls on the sand next to the glass this morning. I figured they were just left over food or something that had collected there. I used some tongs to take one out and put it inside of a small cup. Suddenly the ball fell apart, it was actually about 50 very small...

What is a good first Anemone

I thought it might be, but I wan't sure. I don't think its an RBTA though. After looking it up and reading, they should be all red and mine is more of a deep red-purple with green at the very tip.

What is a good first Anemone

Thanks all! I got a beautiful BTA. I think it might be an RBTA, but I'm not exatcly sure what the R is for. It's a rose color and the ends are greenish. It's doing very well, I took a considerable amount of time to acclimate it and although it has changed spots like 5 times, it is open and...

    Dumb Question...

who knows, it might be, maybe it uses a current to see how many ions or something is in the water. Haven't had chem in a long time, but I remember something about pure water not carrying an electrical current

    Dumb Question...

I don't think so, I am pretty sure they are used to measure electrical current in your tank. Some people use them, some people don't, I personally don't see a use for one in my current setup.

    Bristle Star

I have a question about my brittle star, it's dark maroonish-red, tons of bristles and now its a good 10" in diameter, possible bigger, but I have only measured it by eye. Anyways, I have had this brittle star for years, its one of the only things I kept from my tank melt down last year. I am...

    Do Damsels Eat Xenia?

My cousins yellow tang was doing the same thing. Never did figure out why, but his Xenia grow like weeds and any help he can get to keep them from taking over the tank he's cool with.

    gonioporia

From what I've heard about goniopora, it never stays alive, though I'm sure there is someone on this board who's had success. But I'm sure they could use more details to help you, How long have you had it? Have you done a water test? what are your levels (I.E. Nitrate, Nitrite, Ammonia, Ph...

    Help or Bragging Forum?

Hey man, I know how frustrating it can be, last summer it hit like 112 here, I did everything I could to keep my tank cool, but between work and summer school all of my corals died. I ended up selling all of my fish back to the store and tearing down the tank. I recently restarted my tank after...
