Those lights are Odyssea or Jebo, both made in China. The ballasts only pull between 150-175 watts, so they do not put out 250 watts. I know of several people who have these lights and have changed the halide ballast to Icecap ballast, they plug right in. Compared to a Coralife Aqualight Pro...

I got the same fixture, I ordered mine when they first came out. You won't be disappointed with it. I might order that one from hellolights just cause it's such a deal.

The Elite would be my choice on a 30" deep tank. The price on the Elite can't be beat for a metal halide fixture.Lunar lights are overated IMO, just another gadget.

A six bulb Tek is $470 with bulbs, then $58 for legs or $25 for the hanging kit. Unless you are gonna keep a full blown Sps reef the Nova Extreme Pro will be fine on a 75 gallon.

That is a great deal it even includes the bulbs. For under 200 clams you can't wrong. The hanging kit is $20. Wish they had those when I got new lights.

Nova Extreme Pro 6x54 watt. I have the fixture and like it alot. You can find it for $353 with $10 shipping if you shop around. Another option is a fixture called the 48" solar t5 4x54 watt. It's only $169 you could get one now and another later two would fit on your tank, there only 8.25" wide.

The ballast on the Odyssea fixtures do not put out the wattage they are advertised as. The bulb are not the best. Replace the stock ballasts with Icecap that plug right in and you have a decent fixture for less money then like a Coralife HQI Pro.

I would google 48" solar t5 4x54 watt. This fixture has individual reflectors and they are on sale for $169 you could get two and they both would fit on your tank.

The 4 bulb retro on an Icecap would be better then Nova Extreme Pro. You always add 2 more bulbs down the road for your dusk to dawn effect. Yes the icecap overdrives the bulbs to around 85 watts.

You can get a 4 bulb prewired retro with bulbs, ballast, and SLR reflectors driven by an Icecap 660. For about 50 dollars more then the Nova Extreme Pro. I have the Nova and like it, if I had a canopy I would get the retro.
