i am setting up a 72 gallon bow front and i was wondering if anyone could recommend a in sump skimmer ? i have been looking at the euro reef skimmers but they are 250.00 i know you get what you pay for but are they worth it? the tank will be a reef tank

hopefully i will have the rest of my stuff this week, waiting on tank to be drilled and lights to get here i will be using dual 250 watt 20k xm bulbs

by the way when i installed the 1x4 the hood got rigid it doesnt flex hardly at all , i know people were saying that it was way to flimsey but not anymore

i used a 1x4 across the top of the hood this is were the reflectors and bulds will be attached , it is screwed to the center brace and at each end all screws are counter sunk here is a pic i should get the rest of my equipment next week then i will update again ,tell me your comments

pre drilled means it comes drilled or reef ready the holes are for the return and drain water that lead to a sump under the tank. you dont have to have it drilled you can use an overflow box, i like the tank drilled i hate seeing that overflow box in the tanks

its 23lx10wx12t it says good up to 125 gallons i think 10 gallons would be perfect for the fuge i hope to have my sump and fuge plumbed up in a week i am having my 72 drilled right now so when that is finished i will start. i have started a 72 gallon bow front diy thread i am doin the hood...

i am just begining to setup a 72 gallon bow front here is a pic of a berlin sump that i am goin to use i am also goin to ad a 10 gallon fuge with my setup i will use a 10 gallon aquarium from walmart for the fuge cant beat 10.00 .

ok here we go i have looked at alot of ways to setup a metal halide system in the plastic hood from oceanic and its not gonna be hard.i got the fans installed today i will start the 1x4 frame for the lights tomorrow here is a pic of the fan setup i will keep this thread goin so anyone needing...

has anyone used this sump it says its good for up to a 125 gallons any comments dimensions are 23l/10w/12t
