You do not want it to sit very low in the tank. Where is sits is where the water level is going to be... I use one and it has been great...

The only thing I can think is that I had to use tap water to do a water change a week ago...about 10 gallons... I used the conditioner, but i know there is lots of crap in that water...i had a little over flow and had to use it though..

For the last couple of days my Yellow Tang has not been looking very good. It is not swimming around very much and has been hanging out at the floor of the tank. I dont know whats going on, it was only a couple of days ago it was bright yellow and looking great. I did a usual water change...
