    Cloudy water problem!

ph= 8.1 Am=0 Ni=.5 Na=20 Sal=1.021 Temp=80 It is a white hazy cloud. I think, either I am over feeding the fish or it could be algea. Brwn algea has begun to grow in the tank.

    Cloudy water problem!

My tank finished cycling and all my reading were normal, so I went and added an Emperior Biowheel filter to my existing wet/dry. The next day my water was coudy. I figured it would clear up, but it has now been a couple of weeks and the water is still cloudy. All my water tests are perfect...

    Volitan Lion is struggling!

right now I only have the one tank and it is a fish only tank with a star, wolf eel, the volitan lion and 2 hermits. Should I try to let it pass? Is there anything I can do right now without another tank? Can I treat the fish in the main tank?

    Lion is struggling...help

OK I can stop giving him goldfish, but how often, what amount, and what type of food should I offer. I know I should also offer a variety of food. Accually, the wolf eel is the one that puts on the show...and gets the first meal.

    Lion is struggling...help

While waiting for a reply, I monitored the lion. He doesn't have any visable illnesses. He is now moving about the tank, but not as lively as in the first 4 days. Maybe he is just a little over fed. How much and how often do I want to feed these guys? What type of food should I offer?

I would love to get a clown triger, but do you think all 3 fish will be ok together? How often and what would you suggest I feed the eel and lion? Currently I feed them feeder goldfish and some frozen prawn.

    Volitan Lion is struggling!

I got a volitan lion and wolf eel 4 days ago from my lfs. Both fish came from the same tank, so they were familiar with each other. The eel looks to be doing very well and the lion looked great up until tonight. My tank cycled and I removed the 6 damsels that were in there. I fed the lion 6...

    Lion is struggling...help

My Lion is sitting on the bottom. It looks like he is struggling to get up. I checked all my water levels and they are fine. I have a fireplace in the tank room and it was on today. The water temp went up 2 degrees to 81. Is that the problem? They ate alot of fish. I was excited to show...

    New aggressive tank...

I did not know that either...thanks. I got him over the snowflake, because he does not hide all the time like a typical eel. I recommend anyone that has the tank to accomidate him to get a wolf eel...he is a very cool guy with tons of personality! I feed them some feeder goldfish and purchased...

    what is this???

I just got a wolf eel and lion fish. I notice the next day there is a tiny brown sack with a wormlike thing moving around in it. Does anyone know what this is? The sack is about a 1/4" and the worm sticks out about a 1/2" The pic is not good, so I tried to describe it well.

    problem in acclimation (new tank)

I used TLC to help build bacteria and added 6 damsels after a couple of days. The damsels made the tank fun to have during cycling and they all lived just fine.

    New aggressive tank...

I took six 1" damsels and a 3" coral beauty out of the tank to make room for the fish I got. I figured that was enough to allow for the two fish. The lion is about 4 inches long and the eel is about 7 inches long. I also realize they eat alot more food! The miniatus grows to about 14 to 16...

My 75 gallon tank has finished cycling:cheer: I traded 6 damsels in for a volitan lion and a wolf eel. They are so cool. I put them in last night and gave them a feeding of 4 fish this morning...they tore into them, so I guess they are content in my new tank. I'm trying to decide on a couple...
