Thanks, the big rock is actually a piece of sandstone I found locally, it's worked really well. I'm looking into a 130G.

Thanks! the tank is just about 1 year old, My stock is: 2 clowns yellow tang hippo tang valentine puffer flame hawk strawberry psudocromis bi color blenny 2 mollies (feeder fish) dusky jawfish purple urchin and various crabs and snails

I have heard that about adding the yellow tang last, of course it was after I added it to my tank. It makes sense about maybe moving the rock around, I also was thinking about adding more live rock as well to give him a more secure spot to sleep at so other fish dont bother him. Well see how...

I'm not sure if these are unusual or not, but there pretty cool none the less. The first is some kind of sand sifter, cucumber possably. It wont move all day then it will be on the other side of the tank the next morning. The other is some kind of pollip anneome. (i've been told) it's cool...

That does sound like a good idea but I only have a 55g tank, I was wanting to add a Blue Hippo as well but I have heard that my tank may be to small for one let alone 2 or three tangs. How many do you think I could have?

Just wondering if anybody has had any problems with there yellow tangs biting other fishes tails? I have it pinned down to him because he was one of the first fish in my tank when I started noticing that my Mandrin Gobys tail was being bitten off. He does'nt pick on any of the other fish...

I am setting up a 55g. tank with a wet/dry filter, it did not come with a pump to return the water to the tank, the hose is about 4 ft. long and the distance from the pump to the tank is abut 3 1/2 ft. tall. can anyone recommend the proper pump I need for this setup (gph?) Thanks

I am setting up a 55g. reef tank and am looking for a sump skimmer, the problem i'm having is my stand is a shorter stand and the skimmers i have came across are all to tall to fit inside of it. can anybody recommend a unit that is shorter (around 12-16")?
