Not yet, my weekend blew up on me...I'm still laying out the sump/fuge design so I can get to installing it this weekend with any luck. I'll keep you posted. I guess if you don't hear anything, than I'm probably very wet and very flat...

In terms of layout...should the skimmer go into the intake section or the return section? There seems to be some debate on whether the water going to the fuge should be skimmed or not. As far as flow in my current setup, I'm going to have to make the best of what I've got to avoid divorce...

Wow, duh, sorry, too long of a day... do the other things count toward flow or is it only the return pump?

So, are you saying I should go 12x12 or larger? And what do you mean by SS? I'm guessing sump/skimmer... Do you think I should start looking at a larger overflow when it comes time to upgrade the pump?

Turning Tim I'd love to run some numbers on the sump. As I said, I want to maximize the fuge, while leaving enough room for skimmer, return pump, fuge pump, etc. and allowing room for backflow.

Thanks Tim. If all goes as planned I should be able to eek out a sizeable addition in total water volume. I want to plan the fuge as large as possible. The next challenge will be trying to figure out the best approach to getting the sump/fuge into the stand without totally draining the 125...

With my current set-up the OF equalizes at a touch over 8 gallons. Is there any reason that would change if I leave my overflow and return line alone?
