Hey guys, after i did a water change i noticed a few little white specks on my porcupine puffer. The specks look like single grains of salt stuck to his body . Is this something i need to worry about????

Hey yes I got it from swf it was shipped on tuesday and got here thurs. afternoon coming right into my house so I dont know where it could of gotten them unless they were there when they shipped it, The LR had a little pundgent smell but not to bad

I just recieves a LR order and there are about two hundred nats in the container has this ever happened to anyone else

Can anyone tell me how long a blue urchin needs to acclimate???

I have had the tank cycling for a couple of weeks there is a couple of damsels in their now. All my water reading are good. You can check out my set-up under the thread My first tank in new hobbyists. Planning on a FO tank or a FOWLR. It is a 55 gal.

Can anyone give me the specifics on keeping a blue urchin in my tank.

yeah i had seen alot of postings here about damsels not being very friendly but I heard that they were very hardy fish

Fish only tank. I dont know enough to have coral, but I really want it. I put a couple of damsels in there about two weeks ago and they are good is that enough to initiate the cycle. Triga suggested getting some shrimp.

I have dome some water changes but do I need to do anything else to cycle. My tank was at 78 degrees , but I thought that was high. I will turn the heater back on.

Yes I have a specific gravity tester, ph, nitrate, nitrite, and ammonia test kit. My specific gravity is 1.0218, ammonia 0ppm, nitrite 0ppm, nitrate 0ppm, and ph is about 7.7. Temp is about 74 degrees. What kind of problems could the CC cause? Also, why get rid of the underwater filter?
