    Microbubbles,are they deadly??

:notsure: What are the dangers of having microbubbles in a saltwater aquarium and how do they injure fish? Just had a die off of 4 damsels in a new tank with good water characteristics and I'm starting to wonder if my overaggressive aeration with bubblewands and such killed them. The aeration...

    When to clean canaster filter?

So you don't replace the pads just rinse them off? Do you use salt water or fresh if you have other media working as your biological filter? John

    Jebo In Sump Filter Question

Just got that air valve and it seems to have helped quite a bit. Will continue to watch the foam production as the unit ages as I only hooked this up a couple of weeks ago and as of now have a 110G tank stocked with only one clownfish. Thanks again. John

    Jebo In Sump Filter Question

I'm having a devil of a time trying to properly adjust my no frills Jebo in sump skimmer which I've learned is my most essential piece of marine equipment. Seems to be mismatched to the included pump since even at its' lowest water input and output settings it quickly fills up the collection...

    The Kids(and I)are depressed !!

Haven't learned enough about it to feel secure about adding live rock although everything I've read in various books I've bought indicate that there is no down side except the start up costs for us. Turbo Protein skimmers

The picture looks just like the Jebo Quad in sump protein skimmer that I received thru the World's Greatest Auction site couple of days ago.Paid about 40 dollars for the skimmer and pump plus shipping. Seems to be very difficult to adjust with the two control valves on the intake and output...

    Sump Pump Heating Problem

Just started with this hobby and am having a problem with overheating in my tank. Average temp in the main 108 gallon tank has been running about 82 degrees F since I purchased a wet-dry filter with an in sump pump setup. Heater is working perfectly and was maintaining the tank at 78 deg F prior...
