from what i've read some sharks lay eggs (i.e. brown banded cat shark), some sharks hatch their eggs inside them (i.e. whale shark), and some sharks give birth to live young (i.e. great white shark).

the greenpeace people aren't as nuts as the peta people. you should use them only on the subjects you believe in, nobody is 100% right 100% of the time.

you may also want to check out greenpeace & peta have you ever seen what they do to the mako and the other sharks they catch for sharkfin soup? they cut off all the fins & throw the live shark back in the water to drown - it's very sickening.

i always thought they were either endangered or protected. i grew up on the south shore of long island & used to see them mate & spawn - we were always told to leave them alone because we could get fined if we hurt them.

i believe he's doing water changes since we haven't lost a fish since november. i question a lot of his charges, especially the food, since he charges us for it, but doesn't keep it here which bothers me.

this morning is the first time i've seen it, i've known about the egg since september, the egg doesn't look like it has hatched, it's pretty much in the same place it has been for some time now. we pay someone to take care of the fish, all of the feeding, cleaning, water changes, testing, etc...

oh my god - i just found a shark in my reef tank - i think it's a brown spotted cat shark (chiloscyllium punctatum) i don't know if the guy who takes care of our tank put it in there or if the shark egg actually hatched (i was rooting against it), now i know why the fish have been a little edgy...

i think you should check with at least 1 reputable pergo dealer. just be aware when pergo gets wet, it is extremely slick. i've fallen on my butt more than once after accidently slipping in one of my cats "presents" if you do go with pergo, i highly suggest you go for the upgrade on the...

we have a 460 gal reef tank, we're supposed to have a few serpent stars, didn't see one until yesterday - our lunare wrasse caught it and decided to munch on it all day the 2 dominos and the chromis(?) tried to get a piece of it, but i don't think they had any luck this tank is in our office
