    Help My Starfish

If it looks like the one in the picture, it is a Marble Sea Star. I have one of these, and it seems to do very well. Once a week, I feed it dried sea weed, and mysis shrimp. The Marble Sea Star, or Marble Starfish, is one of the more common of the Fromia species, its coloration making it one...

    PC Light Users

Im looking to upgrade my current lighting system with a PC light. Im currently looking at a Current USA 30" 2X65 watt Orbit set up. It seems like a very convenient system with built in timer controls and moon lights for 24 hour lighting. Does anybody have any experience with this setup? Can...

    Calcium Levels

Hello, I checked my calcium levels for the first time today. It shows my calcium level to be about 360ppm. Where should it be at, and if its low like I suspect, what would you recommend to raise the level? Thanks.

    Bound to fail

After doing a fair bit of reading on these boards, it seems to be a general consensus that if your using tap water, you may aswell quit and not bother. Unfortunately, where I live I have yet to find a usable source of RO water, and purchasing my own RO unit is not an option. I have been using...

    Cyano?

Its definitely a more brown colour. The "algae" is covering an area that was once covered in diatoms. It doesnt seem much like a slime. Its more stringy. Ill try to get another better picture.
