o yeah for sure don't get me wrong it is AWSOME!! corals i have had great success with...dry goods you can't beat it...no one has the selection and know how that they have...but their livestock...i just don't know about it...

to determine your turnover rate you must add up the gallons per hour(gph) of all the pumps in your tanks(powerheads,filters,skimmers,etc) then you divide that total number by the number of gallons of your tank...

but like i said my calcium levels are at like 500 but my alk is still high...4.34...i will have to get a mag test kit though to figure out what is really going on

anyone from the area knows about that pet place...my question is: does anyone else have problems with unhealthy fish from up there? both from personal experiences and from friends with both salt and fresh water tanks we have noticed an ongoing trend of fish dying that we bought at that pet...

i just tested my alk with a salifert test kit and found my levels to be at 4.34 or a KH of 12.2...what would casue my levels to be so high? are high levels dangerous?

wouldnt you rather test your water though so that you can see if your levels are rising so that you can prevent things from dying?
