Anybody ever seen any lats, or caps at their LFS?? I believe I have a Thiellei in my tank & would love to pair w/ a cap. :thinking:

It's an australian scott's fairy wrasse!!! & a nice one too!!!!

I wouldn't go w/ a 6line they can be very aggressive. I would try one of the fairy wrasses like a solar or a flasher wrasse. Make sure your tank is covered or I wouldn't even think about a wrasse. You don't want to spend your $$$ & find it carpet surfing one day!!

My kids use to name all of the fish until they got older. The lone survivor of the old tank is "pinky" an orchid dottyback.

The aust. are alot more $$$$ than the other ones. I would bet for that price it's not an aust.

I had one for about 4 years along time ago. It was really hard getting rid of him because he had changed almost completely. He got to large for my tank. He became a display fish in a LFS in their 500 gallon until a Vlamingi decided to slice & dice him one day!!:nope:

I agree w/ the larger & more mature tank. They also lose their beautiful colors w/ age.

I would have to disagree. Chevrons are more like a kole tang than a powder blue. I've always had good luck w/ them. Never had a problem w/ ick like w/ blue or pwder blue tangs. I guess it's just hit or miss as usual.

Those kinda of resemble mine!!! I only paid $22.99.:D
