The directions that came with mine said to use distilled water.

Thanks again guys! Got it! The only noise I have now is a little splasing water when it comes out of the pipe and I can live with that.

I got my refugium up and running,but my HOB overflow is really noisey.Is there something I can do to elimanate the noise?it's comeing from where the water drains to the refugium. :notsure:

OK,I just got my new refugium today.It is sectioned off in 3.Which end should the water come in and which end should it go out?Where do I locate the skimmer? :help:

I have a 3x250 watt MH and 4x96 watt PC lighting on my 125 w/no chiller,the temp stays right around 79 degrees.The light came with 6" legs and moon lights.the price was right around $800.

Where can I find one?Is there another name for them?I need a good sand sifter,any other ideas? :happyfish

What do you mean "half life"? Will the sand bed last forever or does it need replaced at some point in time? :thinking:
