it's a good point to make ...especially when it comes to medications... a lot of people overdose because they think they have a 125 gallons of water... if you take into account the LR and DSB and actual water, i'm sure it's way less.

my walmart sell RO water...and i hear a lot of people use it in their tanks... however i do think it's worth buying your own... i just took the plunge and ordered one off of ---- for around 140 bucks that included the de-ionizer, they are supposedly very helpful... I also hear that the UV...

So i keep trying to use the search option to find out about hqi MH lights and i feel like i'm getting no where. I would just like to know about how much more they cost to buy. How much longer do they last, and if they are easier on the electric bill... i'm putting them on a 4' long 125...

Just wondering if there would be any harm in buying a bigger water pump at a home depot instead of a pump designed for aquarium use... The home depots give me much better circulation for my $ but i didn't know if there was any leaking or exposed metals that could cause problems... any info would...
