Welcome to the board Bean. I have been running my 75 with an emperor 400 hang on the back filter. Have never had a problem. 80# of LR and two powerheads. I don't have a skimmer, but have minimal coral so IMO, its not a problem.

be sure to check with your shipper to find out if they have any weight limits per box. You may have to break down and ship in two or three boxes if its enough rock......

Be careful when you are handling sponge bob. When you are moving it from tank to tank, be sure to bag it under water each time you move it so air doesn't touch it. I am sure someone else will correct me if wrong, but I would think moving any animal every three days would be incredibly stressful.

I just bought their 4x65 for my 75 gal and I couldn't be happier. The moonlites are way cool and I m very pleased!

I have always had horrible luck with anemones. As SPS said, they move around and sting other corals and die anyway. I have a 75gal fish and soft coral tank and am perfectly happy not keeping clams and sps. I have been successful using a 110w pc but have recently upgraded to a 4x65 pc.

I would like to attemp to make my own overflow (to save $$$) but can't find any detailed designs. Can anyone provide them for me. How to make the box, what size tube to use etc., etc,. DETAILED PLEASE. Thank you in advance!

guess you just found out the hard way to check the compatibility between your existing livestock and potential new tank mates (or lunch as the case was here);) ;)

I wasn't planning on a refugium (algea chamber?) just yet. The main point of setting this up is to help me lower my water temp without buying a chiller. I currently have a glass top over the tank which is trapping heat. Started a different thread for that discussion, so no need to rehash it...
