Thanks for your replies.... I've looked into the Durso standpipe. It seems simple enough to make and it appears that you can make it fit into the AGA overflow. So I plan on going the Durso route :)

Think about getting the book: "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" by Robert Fenner. It is an _excellent_ book that is an easy read. It will give you a great sense for what is involved with this hobby. Really a very good book. Oh, BTW your question regarding avatars... you need 20 posts then...
