I used a toothbrush on it and does not come off. With the actinics on, it has a orange glow.

My LR is starting to get a lot of red color on it. Not sure if this is coralline or some kind of algae. Have'nt noticed many reef tanks with so much if this color. Please see pic attached. Any ideas???? :notsure:

So those little holes are spider worms? This LR came lots with lots of critters. Snails, 3 urchins (don't know what kind), lots of vegitation. Orderd it from my LFS.

The LR is cured

Purchased some Figi LR and was wondering about the grayish dusty looking residue. It's only on some areas of the LR. Some of the powdery residue appears to have come from what tiny inhabitants have pushed out of tiny holes in the LR. Can I remove or should I remove this residue?

Lost some fish due to ich. Will ich continue to survive in my tank even though there is no host. If so, for how long?
