Let me try to describe it with words. Its has the same body structure as an emerald crab. But big difference though, this guy is really "hairy." His legs are extermely "hairy" His color is of a cream skin like color. His craws are black. Hope that helps out.

I know that it isn't a sally-light foot, I have one in my other tank, so I know those :) I think you might have been looking at the crab in the sand. that one is blurry. I circled the crab in the picture with a green outline, check it out, hopefully it will help.

I got the Tech M today and added some. Going to see how that works. If not, I'll get some of reef advantage or turbo calium this weekend. All and all I think the negative experiances out number the postive, so I have decided againist the blue starfish. I was at my LFS yesterday and saw they had some white sand sifters, I purchased two of those. Those will have to be the starfish for my reef, I guess :-)

I thought about going with a plenum, but decided not to. I'll go with 5" of sand then. Anyone know how many pounds I would need for that. Also if I can mix the sands live and regular. I was also thinking about mixing in some crushed coral for buffering. Should I do that? Do I mix it or layer it?

I added some water to the chamber above the motor. It seemed to help alittle bit. I wasn't able to fill it up with much water though, because one of the seams started to leak. I'll have to stop and get some model glue or something. Anyway, thank you all for the help.
