I got a yellow gorgonian and this was on it for a while, then it moved onto my glass. It looks like a piece of red kelp. Its a type of snail i guess, hope my pictures arent too blurry. Any ideas, is it safe?
Yeah you should wait to get one until you have a permanent home for them. If your planning on having it for a while then transferring it to another tank, its going to be a pain catching it, you'd probably have to take out all the rocks to get it out. Just a warning, they're hard to catch!

BTW, it is on a christmas tree rock, now zoos.
Yeah i know its on my christmas tree rock, i was just saying that something was eating my zoos and i saw this thing, so i decided to take a pic of it. Thanks for the info
Check if there are any small snails near them. I think they're called sundial snails, they feed on zoanthids. I had some come as hitchhikers and ate most of my zoos until i read about them.
they're probably just acclimating to the new environment and different lighting. Give it time and they'll will be on a normal cycle again. Mine would close up all the time when i switched to pc lighting. They got adjusted and now are open all the time.
Hi stevebk, just wondering if you still have those blue zoos, i couldnt pm you. Let me know. If anyone else has some i'm still looking.
