Think this is good for 65gallon tank?

Well just because a fish is swimming and not covered in ick does not mean he is doing well. Tangs get large and more importantly love to swim. The guy at the LFS is simply doing what he has to, to make a sell. And I can't say for sure weather or not it will happen. But a pair of clowns can and...

Pearl Bubble Coral hit wall. 1/2 of the skin is gone overnight! Quick advice plz.

There is product out by kent marine that is called "dip" . It is a combo of iodine and something else and it greatly improves the progress of seteriating corals. Look into it. But DO NOT try and make your own.

    Real Saltwater!!!

You have to be careful with water collected from anywhere near human contact. Most of it contaimanted with alot of silicates that can wreck your tank. I live about 125ft of the water on the gulf coast and do alot of work with the sea lab here and I would not even imagin of using what we have...

    Clown question

And alot of it will depend on the fish itself. You might not have any luck at all with it hosting to your clown. And I agree with everyone on reading up and asking more questions. They take pretty intense light and well established system. They require direct feeding and by the time you notice...

    showcase fish

You will run a risk with any angel nipping at corals. If you are tang crazy(like myself) look into a sailfin or maybe a even a purple. But if it is angel I would definately run with a coral beauty over the flame. The flames tend to be more aggresive towards other fish and corals.

    DSB or Undergravel filter?

If you decide to go with play sand use caution. Most that stuff is full of silicates and will cause you huge problems. Southdown comes highly recommended but is not readily available in all areas. It would be better for you if you could not find silicate free play sand to just by dead sand from...

I am not real sure on you space limitations but I had a similar problem with a old tamk set-up. I bought a piece of foam and let the pump sit on it. Knocked the problem out. You could even use a rag of some sort. Anything to get that pump of a solid surface. Just be careful as to what is on the...

    DSB or Undergravel filter?

I would definately runa dsb over a ugf. 007 made a good point about it breaking down and releasing unwanted waste. A ugf might actually produce results you want over a short period of time . But will cause you more problems and time if you actually comtinue it's use. Eventually you will probably...
