    modifying berlin classic

Has anyone ever tried adding a small air pump to the air intake on the classic? I'm wondering if there would be an increase in bubble production

    tangs and angels

A real eye catcher would be a majestic they are not too aggressive and they are very unique. I love yellow tangs but they are too aggressive for a community tank with peaceful tank mates they just seem to antagonise aggressive behavior throughout the tank imho

Well I put it up here to help newbies get a break and I've had 86 hits already. I'm going to try to get over there today to see how it's moving and if you read up on this stuff they're claiming it is the safest sand bed for kids sand boxes so HD should win both ways. BTW what part of GR are you...

Yeah I'm finally setting up the 125. I just built the stand and I'm going to build a smaller sized fuge to sit behind it same height and length just 4 inches narrower I'll have a sump on one end and a 4 ft. fuge in the middle. I can use smaller pumps for return as I won't have as much head...

I got 9 because i'll need about 300 lbs. for my tank and fuge combined and I'll have a reserve in case I want to set up more and replenish the sand that eventually disolves. How much was left?

I persuaded the Home Depot Mgr. to bring in 2 pallets. I just picked up 9 bags. If you're interested it's at the Walker store just northwest of Grand Rapids.

If you deny people living in your 2X2 closet food as well as space you most certainly will stunt their growth! These arguments are a waste of time. No two tank environments are the same. Using proper testing and common sense can allow you to BEND the fish rule but don't be stupid and test the...

I got an idea about a 55 fuge!

You might be heading for a flood. The sump should return to the 120 I hope you have a siphon box incase of power failure. Do another overflow box between the 2 tanks and pump that back into the 120, just glue a barrier for another sump to put the pump in for the 55

Do you run glass tops inside your canopies?

Has anyone seen the display at Lowes that shows the difference between normal glass and low E glass. It shows a solar powered bulb with a windlike vane inside and the low E was really cranking compared to the normal glass. I wonder if for those of us not running high temps and not wanting to...
