LMAO
Whoa man thats the craziest/funniest thing i've seen on this message board. Have ya seen that episode of south park about the queer eye guys/crab people??? Yeah maybe this is the start of crab people!!!!
hey guys can I get on the trend???? I wanna do athe .5 gallon Deco art cause i want a saltwater tank but I have limited funds. I found a website that sells replacement lights for the Red Sea Deco Art tank do you want the link???
I would go ahead and get a heater but just make sure it does not over heat since it is such a small tank. Make sure you get the right lighting too cause the 2.5 your looking at might not have sufficient lighting to support corals.
Hey I was wondering if any of ya knew if LS and LR from California's central coast would work in a tank. Its not exactly that tropical though. The water is in the low 60s and there is no coral reefs in that area?
I like your rock set up. Personally I would put in a sun coral they are so bad azz. If you dont know what they look like try to find a pic of one that is opened cause when they are closed their not anything special.
Vibe I am wanting one of those little guys now too cause I'm poor and I need something that wont be a hassle when I move. SO I was wondering what kinda test kits do ya need for something that small and where can you find replacement lights?
No I don't think you have to cycle a tank that small and I can say for sure just a little filter will do. I don't think you can keep any fish in there long term (probaly not even a good idea for short term) but ya can have a nice crab running around and a little coral. I think i am going to...
Well if you decide you want to do a skimmer ya should check out bigals website they have cheap skimmers that I reckon would do mighty fine in your nano.
I am thinking somewhere between 10 and 15 gallons? WOuld 20 pounds of LS actually be a good amount for this size? I wanted to have a good size sandbed so ya if yall can :help: me id appreciate it.
Hi I am wanting to start a small tank and will not be needing 20 pounds of LS. I don't want to get a big bag and let it go to waste so can I buy other kinds of sand instead? How about sand tha is ment for reptile pets?
Thats good that you are getting back into fishkeeping. I myself am just getting into it also still doing the research. Well I do have a few suggestions. Have you looked into chillers? I don't know where you live but where I live it gets over 120 in my garage during the summer so thats...
Whoa cool tank. Anyways thanks for putting the pics up they put things in perspective for me. I guess I will be getting alot less rock than I expected cause I don't like a tank that is too full of rock and coral. I'll save money to so thats a plus.
This is just a question out of curosity about the 1/2 gallon. What do ya do in the winter when ya need a heater? Do ya stick a heater in that little thing.
Well money is one of the reasons I wanna do a nano and yest this is my first tank. I want to do a nano too cause alot of people say its a bad idea but I know it is possible so I am gonna go for it. I just wanna do my research first.
