What types of fish do you have?

How about turning your lights off during the day when it is the hottest, and have them come on at night when it is cooler. I have done this a few times during heat waves for a week or two and have been able to keep the tank 3-4 degrees cooler. The soda bottles and ziplocked ice work great too...

fish&chips the improved colors are most definatly because of the zoecon enriched food. I use it everytime I feed and the colors of all my fish have improved dramaticaly. I have eeven herd that this will reverse lateral line disease in tangs. Does anyone out there use selcon and if so why??

Just wondering is the water that is collected from a dehumidifier considered distilled ? and would it be ok to use for top off etc. Just an idea my dehumidifier in the basment would provide about 2 gallons a day if this were true ? :cool:

I have a 92 gallon corner tank with a amiracle sl250 wet dry filter. Could I put culpera algae in the sump of this filter with a light or would I be better off to do this in another tank and pump back into the sl250?

With the added volume of water would my water changes be less frequent??

assuming the tank is glass a brand new razor blade held at a 45 degree angle works great. Also make sure you really clean the glass with a good glass cleaner prior to painting or it will peal on you.
