Frost, I Dl'd some to preview as well and it reminded me how good the show was. I found ONE site on the entire world wide web that actually has the special edition in Region 0 format. I've ordered it. I'll let the board know how it is. The site was a UK store called hmv.

The Blue Planet - Special Edition (not the Collectors edition) For the life of me, I cannot find this DVD sold at a US business/site. Has anyone had any luck? The only places that have this set are in the UK or in Australia, and respectively have Region 2 and 4 encoding (US is region 1 or 0)...

i just changed my bulbs after about 7 months of operation

i have 2, 65 watt 50/50 PC bulbs....not much, but I think sufficient for a 10 gallon nano. and the LFS had it in "low light, low current." I only saw a single 50/50 PC bulb in their tank.

Oh, and I know that it hasn't fully extended yet. But only the very tips of the extensions look green, and the rest of it looks brown. Here's just another pic for the hell of it - at night with the sweeper tentacles.

I can only give you the information regarding my ricordeas, but of course, I have no idea if that is indicative of ricordeas in general. It's been two months and the green ricordea has grown about 1.5 inches in diameter. The red one has grown about .75 inches in diameter.
