Blue Planet - Special Edition (3 new epidsodes)

Frost, I Dl'd some to preview as well and it reminded me how good the show was. I found ONE site on the entire world wide web that actually has the special edition in Region 0 format. I've ordered it. I'll let the board know how it is. The site was a UK store called hmv.

Blue Planet - Special Edition (3 new epidsodes)

The Blue Planet - Special Edition (not the Collectors edition) For the life of me, I cannot find this DVD sold at a US business/site. Has anyone had any luck? The only places that have this set are in the UK or in Australia, and respectively have Region 2 and 4 encoding (US is region 1 or 0)...

haha....actually no. I have this 5 bulb blue LED flashlight, which I was shining at the coral. I snapped the photo without any flash.

    coral color

no skimmer (no space) yes RO/DI water. If it was in fact the water quality, would the difference in color be that readily apparent? -- within a day of having placed it in the tank? Here is another picture - further extension. Looks almost completely brown!! I could have sworn that at the...

    coral color

i have 2, 65 watt 50/50 PC bulbs....not much, but I think sufficient for a 10 gallon nano. and the LFS had it in "low light, low current." I only saw a single 50/50 PC bulb in their tank.

    coral color

Oh, and I know that it hasn't fully extended yet. But only the very tips of the extensions look green, and the rest of it looks brown. Here's just another pic for the hell of it - at night with the sweeper tentacles.

    coral color

Every time I buy a coral, the color always seems bleak relative to the color I observed at the LFS, despite similar, if not better lighting. Is this because the coral has changed environments? Is this psychological - namely that I'm more impressed when I see the coral for the first time at the...

    substrate in an established tank

ok thanks. And no. No particular reason I'm using crushed coral rather than sand.

    substrate in an established tank

I wanted to add some fresh crushed coral substrate into my established tank. I rinsed the crushed coral very thoroughly and placed a cups worth of it into my tank when I noticed that the water was already beginning to cloud up. Do I need to remove all live products from the tank before adding...

    packing with corals?

This is kind of a strange/silly question, but I really wanted to know.... I have a 10 gallon tank with fish and coral. The way it's set up, the top 4 inches of the tank are completely empty. This way, when I do water changes, nothing is exposed to the air when the water is siphoned out. What...

    finally some ricordeas

Anybody have any pictures of Yumas that they could post on this thread? It would be great to see some - there don't seem to be many left through the "search" function.

    finally some ricordeas

Does anyone know why my green ricordea has such long tentacles on its perimiter? I haven't seen any ricordeas like that, and I was wondering if that was a good or bad sign. I have a feeling that it means that the ricordea is really hungry and extending as far as poosible for food - but I...

    finally some ricordeas

I can only give you the information regarding my ricordeas, but of course, I have no idea if that is indicative of ricordeas in general. It's been two months and the green ricordea has grown about 1.5 inches in diameter. The red one has grown about .75 inches in diameter.
