    Best Florida Fish Suppliers?

Hey guys... I just moved to St. Augustine, FL which is located on the east coast between Jacksonville and Daytona. Just wondering if anybody knows any really good places to buy reef stock within 2 or 3 hours of this area? I want to try to dodge the local shops that get stock from the bigger...

Order arrived 30-90 gallon reef package (order, ordering, packages review)

I haven't ordered from liveaquariua specifically because of the fact that they are higher priced than a couple other reputable sites. I am sure they probably have nice healthy stock too though. That's a great site. I have been very impressed with my orders from here so far, but have not yet had...

    HOB Refugium on glass tank...

I use an 18" HOB aquafuge on my 55 gallon. These are great and I highly recommend them. Great for harvesting algae, adding trace/calcium/iodine etc., preserving pod population, storing cleaner clams, isolating fish if necessary, adds surface/oxygen area, etc. etc. etc. Refugiums are a must for a...

Order arrived 30-90 gallon reef package (order, ordering, packages review)

I know I'm always interested in seeing how peoples orders do when ordering live aquaria so I can base ordering decisions on their experiences. I received the 30-90 reef package, 2 anemones, and a yellow tang yesterday. Very beautiful stock and excellent packaging. Highly recommended...

    two 500 gallon tanks

Just monitor the tanks. If the club is causing a serious vibration in your tank then it will definately stress your stock. Try to keep speakers pointed away from them as sound travels in a straight line in waves. The waves will hit a source and scatter but the jist of it is in the direct path...

    The things are killers...

Ummm... I wasn't really asking if the shrimp killed the fish, I was telling. Trust me, the shrimp killed the fish. I know my fish and I've had the flame for over a year... and there was NOTHING wrong with either him or the reef he was in. What I WAS asking was if anybody else had lost a fish...

    The things are killers...

Most people will say "Don't get coral banded shrimp, they're agressive." I should have listened. One killed my flame angel the day after I put it in my tank... and was working on my tang! I had fun murdering it for its misdeeds, but I miss the angel. Oh well, now I can check out another pygmy...
